Data and Visualization Week 2. May 16, 2016. From my feedback from last week, I learned that my map needed to feel more related to my subject matter. In this first image I tried to do that using the old movie count down clocks on top of the top ten countries. However, this idea didn’t come out as clear as I hoped, so I then moved on to trying to create the map I made last week with film reels instead. Posted in Art 331R. Data and Visualization Week 1. Bannack Best – Fine Art. November 4, 2015. While taking portraits, I was able to ask the model with the spurs to let me take a close up of the spurs. In Photoshop I added a black and white adjustment layer. I played with the contrast, level, and curves settings to get the spur to stand out more in black and white. Bannack Best – Portraits. November 4, 2015. For these first two photos I used a speed light to the left of the model to form a triangle between myself, the light, and the model. In the first photo the model was instructed to act like an angry school teacher. In the second she was asked to toss an apple up a couple of times. For creating the app I started by drawing out some basic wireframes of what each screen looked like.
