Adds a natural, vivid character to cabinetry and furniture; a quality not available in mass-market products. Using veneer is good environmental practise. Veneer gives 60 to 70 times the yield of solid wood. Applied to a manufactured wood substrate (an environmentally advantageous product), it is more stable dimensionally than a solid or a plywood, and more versatile. Custom colour stain matching.

This bed is modelled on the furniture made by German settlers who came to Waterloo County, Ontario, in the 19th century. The oval frames on the top and bottom hold custom veneer panels — pictured is Karelian Burl. The inserts of the four square panels may also finished with a custom veneer. Heritage Wall Beds by Wood Effects. Wall bed construction and materials…. Raw wood is sanded to 180 grit, first by machine, followed by a thorough hand sanding. Stain conditioner is applied if required to prevent uneven absorption of stain by wood, eliminating blotches. Sanding sealer is sprayed on using environmentally friendly HVLP spray equipment. Sealer is sanded with 220 grit paper. The first finish coat is sprayed on all surfaces. Every part is re-sanded. Final coat of lacquer is sprayed.

Welcome - Heritage Wallpaper
This site is under construction. Our passion for wallpaper started with an 1830s house in Tasmania when fragments of original wallpapers were found in cupboards and under stairs. The designs were exquisitely beautiful and demanded to be recreated so they could once again adorn the house with beauty. Out of this grew a passion for wallpaper and the desire to help others create an authentic period feel in their home.
