Thursday, January 5, 2012. I know I'm faking it, faking it. Yesterday I had to stop by to pick up my dry cleaning on my way home from work. As I walked back to my car, dry-cleaning in hand, wearing my favorite gray slacks and my heals clicking authoritatively on the pavement - I caught myself thinking "look at me, all grown up.". Monday, September 27, 2010. Weekend at Cape Cod. My sister lives out in Cape Cod, MA where she works for a large, wealthy family who own a private island. The family puts her up on the island and when we went out for her wedding they let all of us stay and play on the island as well. Starting next Monday I'll start my training and take on quite a new new duties - not to mention a nice little raise in my pay. I'm excited for the new challenges and opportunities and interested to see why my boss equate...

I very much enjoy my quiet, working girl, one bedroom apartment life, but I am also enjoying this little taste of what a different life would be like and considering the possibility that my own life could be like this sometime in the future.
