Alex, the 9 year old is doing great- moving steadily towards his baptismal date next saturday. We also set a date with an investigator that we have- Fernanda. It is pretty tolky- made out of gospel pamphlets, but hey, it reflects my callign as a missionary (plus it's all we had:) But there ya go KAte! Wow I felel like I am in a an extra rush today! This week has been good. We had a super exciting lesson with Caludia and Andrew- and they want to be BAPtized! I know it's nothign for you all in utah, but hey- it's a big thing here.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. MIRACLES, 26 Feb 2013, Week 5, Transfer 5. What a week. Seriously. This has been the CRAZIEST WEEK OF MY LIFE! It has been full of shock, heartbreak, uneasiness, and miracles. Ready to hear about it? Got the training call from President Cook (See attached picture of my immediate reaction). Wow. Surprise and a wave of unworthiness, un preparedness, and nervousness washed over me. so yeah. You didn't even eat the whole thing? Missionary work and feeling anxiety about training.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Thanksgiving was just great. We were able to share it with Grandpa and Grandma Ford! They drove from Virginia to spend a few days with us, and were we happy to have them. Here is our spread. We also had the senior missionary couple over as well as one other couple in the branch. It was yummy and we were all stuffed! Adelle, awaiting her meal patiently. Cade being silly, and Brinly just a cheesing at the Thanksgiving feast. This is the gang, unfortunately, it's blurry.

He will definitely be missed. Such a wonderful man. I love him. My very first memory of him includes driving up to the Texaco station after a long drive from California or TX with him standing outside of the station store doorway. We always knew there was a treat involved when we saw Grandpa first thing!
