Herpetofauna is a collective name for amphibians and reptiles, and herp is an abbreviation of herpetofauna! This site is an extension of Bruce Kingsbury's research program at Indiana - Purdue University Fort Wayne. It used to be the site for the Herp Center, the Center for Reptile and Amphibian Conservation and Management, which has now expanded to become the Environmental Resources Center.
