Mill Race Farm is the largest rescue/home finding sanctuary in Yorkshire offering a home to up to 100 greyhounds at any one. Tia re-homes approximately 250 dogs every year. Since it was established, Tia has re-homed over 4,000 dogs. Half of our dogs are strays the others come from their owners/trainers. When my idea of making greyhound coats as a fund raiser for Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare became a reality, it soon became obvious it was going to take over my life. While I was looking for the perfect fleece coat for Leah I hit on the idea of making them to sell. To be honest I couldn’t find one that had everything I required so I ‘hotch potched’ a few different designs together, refined it with the help of Denise Dubarbier at WGW. Did some wonderful photographs for me. We were up and running.

Simplicity is the New Black. Thursday, 21 February 2013. Walking the (new) dog. We have a wonderful new addition to our family. He's been with us for five weeks now, and he is gradually settling in. These photos were taken a few weeks ago when he was still very new and nervous. He is a rescued ex-racing Greyhound. Although very large, he is very gentle.
