All the latest on our life with triplets and our baby girl! Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Fall brings many things I love; beautiful colors, cooler temps, pumpkin spice latte's (which I have yet to have, I need to get a move on that! And of course our trip to the apple orchard. We started this tradition with dear friends a few years ago and I have to say it continues to be one of my favorite things to do. This year my parents and the whole Hess clan joined us so we had quite a group! Get that one way up there!

It's hard to believe that my babies are getting to be so grown up. I definitely shed a few tears today (they went in and didn't look back! I spent the weekend marveling at how just one short year ago, Josie joined our family and we have been better for it! Josie loves people too, blowing kisses and handing out smiles that will pretty much make your day. And to make me feel all the more emotional, below I have chronicled the year in pictures. It was so quiet and peaceful and was just the getaway we all needed. It was so nice to have a week at a slow pace with no real agenda except to have fun. The kids loved. View from the back porch. Joe and Gwens Fairy Tale. Once upon a time . Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Some other things that have been happening lately: Last weekend we had a pretty big wind storm. The playground that Joe had just put up in the Spring, blew over. We were able to put back up the slide and ladder part, but the swing part has bent metal and torn apart pieces of wood. And they both get in for free since they are under 3. That makes it even better. Isabella is very similar to Isaac. She also picks her nose!

Sore, but doing OK. Right now it's taking me longer to eat than Nathan! It was in place since mid-August, and they were supposed to change it last week, but we cancelled the appointment because it wasn’t on a Wednesday and because her surgery is scheduled for a few weeks from now. But I couldn't be more excited for these three. They are very ready for this next step and I know they will love it! I'm one proud mom already! This summer just flew by for the Hesses! It was so much fun to come and watch them in their little uniforms and cheer them on. They are already begging to do it again next year!
