Kristina's Traveling Circus: March 2007
http://kristinastravelingcircus.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 8, 2007. Berlin was quite the experience. I didn't know really what to expect: students I didn't know, a new city, and missing a week of school. In the end, it was absolutely amazing. I was too busy to even write this! We stayed at the Circus Hostel in the old East. It was really nice and clean, and apparently used to have a really cool bar in the basement, but it was closed for renovation. However, there was lots of nightlife everywhere, so it wasn't like that was a problem. 5) Schloss C...

Sunday, June 29, 2008. Our first excitement was on Wednesday night, when Sweden had a soccer match in the European Cup. We were all rather disappointed when they lost. Helene driving the boat, apparently something was funny]. Maribeth and I waiting for dinner]. Cornelea playing in her little pool]. Maribeth, Thomas, ...

Kristina's Traveling Circus: April 2007
http://kristinastravelingcircus.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2007. The Process of Getting Ready. We had our pre-depature meeting for all the kids studying abroad next fall and full year, which is over 100 students. Even though so many are going abroad, Brian Souders, the Study Abroad Coordinator is doing a great job. I just can't figure out what this experience is going to be like, but isn't that what it is about? The full program with schedules and such can be viewed at: www.studiesabroad.com. Valparaiso, Chile: 3 months and counting.

Kristina's Traveling Circus: August 2008
http://kristinastravelingcircus.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 4, 2008. Also known as the weekend where I got the German rugby experience. My last weekend in Germany I went to a Beach Rugby Tournament in Bad Kostritz. I knew that it was going to be a good time simply because I would get to play rugby as well as get to know the team better. But all I really knew about the weekend was: 5:30 pm, Fehrberlliner Station; Beach Rugby; Tents; Bad Kostritz. Waiting at the station for our bus to arrive. About 30 people from the men's and women's teams]. By this...

Monday, December 1, 2008. Right after I got back from my year abroad, I wrote this reflection about the whole experience; a brief look from A-Z of what the year consisted of. If you want to read more, that is what all the other posts are for! Leaving with only a backpack and a bag for Chile, Summer 2007]. Arriving a day early, Ali, Brittany and I stand with the Andes at our backs in Santiago, Chile]. My host mom, host brother, and neighbor take me to a beautiful overlook of the ocean]. In the courtyard o...
