Here, There, and In-between: May 2010

Where in the World. Friday, May 28, 2010. Just What the Doctor Ordered. Links to this post. Sunday, May 16, 2010. How to Dress an Italian Baby. Once I was given some hand-me-down clothes from an Italian friend. My favorite sets of little linen pants and tiny tees, frilly dresses, and fancy frocks, were by a brand called. They were beautifully made with definite European flair, but it didn't dawn on me until I was looking through. Perhaps, but my time in Italy has taught me, that while what. Before I went...

Here, There, and In-between: Is it October already?!
http://herethereandinbetween.blogspot.com/2011/10/is-it-october-already.html
Where in the World. Saturday, October 1, 2011. Is it October already? September, new schools and life with a really, real school kid- a first grader! And all with baby gigantica in tow. Whew! Has is slowed down enough for me to visit my little ol' blog? I was worried bout you! Thanks for the quick update! I should know, I had 3 little kids once. October 2, 2011 at 2:22 AM. Yes, I must say, getting out and about with an unpredictable newborn was easier than an 18 month old! October 2, 2011 at 9:24 AM.

Here, There, and In-between: Happy Thanksgiving
http://herethereandinbetween.blogspot.com/2010/11/happy-thanksgiving.html
Where in the World. Thursday, November 25, 2010. The weather today is a bit like my emotions. As normal for this time of year out on the tip of the heel of the boot, the sun is shining one moment, and the next there is a downpour. At least the temperature has dropped and it doesn't feel like spring approaching summer today. That helps me get into the holiday spirit. After I put the baby down for a nap, I had a wonderful, quiet lunch. I also decided to bail out on my usual house work and play. I will rush...

Here, There, and In-between: Bravi, bambini!
http://herethereandinbetween.blogspot.com/2011/02/bravi-bambini.html
Where in the World. Sunday, February 13, 2011. A whole year has passed. has it? Or has it been longer? And here we are. So, almost 3 years ago we moved to the heel of the boot. Far, far from family and friends. It began as an adventure, a transfer and a transition. We traveled the 10 hours with an almost 2 year old, and a 3 year old. Anymore. I sometimes feel like I live on the edge of the world. My husband says that sometimes from the sky it looks like just that. And then one very hot afternoon at a zoo...

Here, There, and In-between: April 2010
http://herethereandinbetween.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Where in the World. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Made in Italy, (Part 3). Where was my husband? Every so often Giuseppe would pop in to check on me. Where did he keep running off to? Back to sleep perhaps, catnapping in the coffee break room on a well worn sofa, watching a black-and-white TV running fuzzy reruns of. He would ask if I was alright, but what could I say? Still there was only a staff of two. Document saying that I would be staying, at long last, finally admitted to. Like maybe my husband would c...

Here, There, and In-between: January 2011
http://herethereandinbetween.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Where in the World. Thursday, January 27, 2011. Or housewife, to do. There are things like shaking out rugs, airing out bed pillows on windowsills, mopping the marble floors, and forever sweeping the balconies. Washing windows? I never washed a window in America! And now I'm off to go clean up one of Rach's masterpieces. I call it, Cereal the Sister. Well, I'll just take it with a grain of salt, or a few. Links to this post. Friday, January 14, 2011. My kids love the classic Christmas shows that we have ...
