Jerry-rigging and short-cutting is the name of the game. Bring your band-aids, bring your ice packs, because we're going where respectable crafts fear to tread. Saturday, October 4, 2014. I finally finished a couple of set pieces for my next photo project and I'm ready to share'em with the world! Right now I'm over-the-moon proud of myself but that'll probably change in a couple of days when I think of new and faster ways I could've done it- sometimes it's exhausting being fickle and artistic. On an unre...

Long time no see my dears! Things went into a bit of a slump since we last met up. A variety of illnesses and Obligatory Winter Holidays. Friday, October 31, 2014. Happy Halloween from Miss Mummy's friends! Joan, Stacey, Ken, Barbara and Vivian. Barbara and Ken gettin' cozy. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. Thursday, October 30, 2014. This is Miss Mummy and she is throwing a Halloween Ball for some of her friends. Her dress doesn't quite match the vision I had in my head but it's okay for a first try. My Barbie's Closet: November 2014
http://mybarbiescloset127.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. As a side note, this is why dolls should not be left in any one outfit for too long.see that spot, poor Mary Elizabeth has never had her leggings removed. It appears that something put pressure on one spot and the dye from her leggings bled through to her leg. It's okay, now she has a birthmark. Friday, November 28, 2014. Meet the Dolls: More Fashionistas. I love her dress, how cool is that, that she has a removable breast plate.and a sparkly one to boot! This little cutie is P...

My Barbie's Closet: Peasant Style
http://mybarbiescloset127.blogspot.com/2015/08/peasant-style.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I don't have many outfits from the 70's and am trying. To reproduce some of the Best Buy era types. I have. Made a few sundress straight from a 1970's pattern. That look very nice. I wanted a more peasant or gypsy l ook so took a bodice. From one pattern and a skirt. From another, added some. Other details and these are the results. Free's outfit is a little more 'southern belle' than. Peasant or gypsy, I think. It's a little too poufy, though. Variations of these dresses.
