Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. In the middle of nowhere. It has been quite some time since I have had a chance to update, and some people have asked why, so I thought I'd make this into a blog entry. . I will update more later, but wanted to at least put something up. :). Oh, side note, I am down to only needing about six modules to complete my 1e D&D/AD&D Module collection. Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. D&D Summer Campaign: Update #2. The photo has nothing to do with this posting other than the fact that it was cool and the first thing I was able to locate that had a D&D Party of Adventurers in it. :) Brandon and I have decided on the three characters for our Summer Campaign. Cardboard Carnage: May 2011
http://cardboardcarnage.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Monday, May 9, 2011. The kids had an idea to start a home gaming league. Play games as often as possible, keep track of the game played and the winners, scores, etc., and then compare the numbers after a month or two and determine the overall winners. It sounded like a solid idea, so we officially started the league with a game of Fireball Island. Jesse was the winner. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Cardboard Carnage Blog.

http://cardboardcarnage.blogspot.com/2009/06/free-rpg-day-was-success.html
Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Sunday, June 21, 2009. Free RPG Day was a Success! I managed to spend about 45 minutes in Rooks (the local gaming store in Bozeman) this Saturday for Free RPG day, which seems to be the most free time I have had there in ages. It was a great success for sure and I got some super products. Wizards of the Coast - Khyber's Harvest. Goodman Games - Immortal Hero's Handbook and Amethyst: Heart of Chaos Adventure. I am a huge fan of Goodman G...

Cardboard Carnage: July 2008
http://cardboardcarnage.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Sunday, July 27, 2008. Has anyone here seen any of these minis in person? If so, what did you think? As for the mini itself, I was quite impressed with the sculpt and paint job. Aside from the fact that the face was not painted, just a huge green splotch, but I was told that this was an early sample and the face was unpainted. With that one thing aside though, the mini was amazing. Labels: World of Warcraft Minis. My older son likes the...

Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. D&D Summer Campaign: Update #1. I did get MM2, but it is a father's day gift, so I can't really look at it yet. My 6 year old son Parker got it for me last week when he went into the city with Mommy and he is really excited to be giving it to me for Father's Day. so, as much as I want to peer into those pages, it will have to wait! Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Monday, November 24, 2008. Session Report: World of Warcraft Miniatures Game. Well, we finally got to play our first game yesterday and it was great! My oldest son (age 14) plays WoW online with me on the weekends, so he was really interested in the mini game, as was I from my years of playing other mini games and also knowing the WoW world from online play, so both of us had great interest and are glad the game went smoothly! I think t...

Cardboard Carnage: August 2008
http://cardboardcarnage.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. When in the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks does this game come out? Ok, first of all, let me start by saying that FFG is one of my favorite companies for board games. I am not sure if it is my number one favorite, but I can guarantee it is in my top three at least. I have probably purchased about 80% of their products over the years and have enjoyed most of them quite a bit. So that is now ANOTHER Month and a Half?

Gaming Reviews, Memories and Random Thoughts from Cardboard Carnage. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Session Report: PHase 10 - Gaming with the PHolks. Ok, bad play on words. anyhow, last night my wife and I got together with my parents for a game of Phase-10. We have been starting to get together and play a game once a week, and it has been a lot of fun. No cool wargames or fantasy type games like I'm into, we are talking more along the lines of Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit type stuff. As we caught up and n...
