THERES A WORLD THAT WAS MEANT FOR US TO SEE. I've gotten to the point of the school year where I just want to create memorable experiences for my students. I want to do the messiest, most creative projects I can do. Last week we made art by throwing painted tennis balls at canvases, and it was the coolest thing ever. I practiced papier mâché at home today in prep for doing it with my grade ones and two in the coming weeks, and it was soooo messy! Gotta do everything I can. Posted by Jessica -.

Now that it's December, I get to wear my most favourite ring every day, one that everyone stops me for and wants to reach out and touch. It's metal of course, but it fools everyone. You will need: watercolour pencils, painting paper (i use bristol board), masking tape, water, paintbrush, straw, brown/black paint (depending on what colour you want the tree trunk), red/pink paint (depending on what colour you want the cherry blossoms/leaves). 2: using a paintbrush, add water to your watercolour pencils (i sweep side to side but it's up to you). THE DAY IS COMIN. First glances of my classroom since I left it in June. We had to take down everything because we got new plaster walls (no more carpet walls) and we got choose one colour to be a 'focus' wall, so I chose green.
