Women’s Connect Exhibition, Wednesday 28 March, 2012. Hosted by PPB Advisory, award-winning photographer Tom Goldner presented the Photo for Freedom ‘Volta’ exhibition and talk about his work and personal experiences of Ghana and its people. The Reverend Tim Costello joined Tom to talk about the effect of globalisation on human trafficking. Funds raised at this event went directly to support the YGAP Ghana Project to continue combating child slavery in Ghana. Week 3 and 4 - Photo for Freedom.

Photo for Freedom Volta Exhibition Launch, Thursday 2 February 2012. Photo for Freedom ‘Volta’ opening night attracted more than 130 people who heard from guest speakers Tim Costello, Bernadette Alibrando and Autumn Buzzell. Many hundreds more enjoyed the exhibition over the next two weeks, helping to raise awareness and funds to combat child slavery in Ghana. The exhibition coincided with the 2012 St Kilda Festival. Week 3 & 4 – Photo for Freedom. The volunteer stages of my adventure ended with the departure of group one; I said my goodbyes to Anthony, Jess, Kian and Kali as they set out for a weekend away down the coast. Louise and I decided to stay at the house to plan for the coming weeks.
