Hayes Family Cookbook Challenge. Sunday, March 6, 2011. Molasses Cookies * * - Hayes Family Cookbook Week 6. This was not the first time we have tried these cookies but haven't made them in a while. Overall a good cookie and according to the recipe a prize winning cookie at that. They stay moist for several days if stored correctly in an air tight container. My only suggestion on this recipe is there is too much caramel. Next time I will cut that part of the recipe in half otherwise as you can tell by the picture, the caramel pretty much takes over on the brownies.
