How we do it. Hebrew Free Loan Society. When there’s a non-profit that does great things, but no one knows about it, it’s a problem. The Hebrew Free Loan Society of NY was in that position. Changing lives daily for over 120 years, its fan base had shrunk, so donations were slowing down, even when the need for their interest-free loans was increasing at a rapid rate.
