Life in the Vast Lane: our little football fan
http://skaffs.blogspot.com/2011/10/our-little-football-fan.html
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Our little football fan. Ella got her first taste of live football last weekend! It was an absolutely beautiful day, just a little windy. My company sponsors NDSU athletics, and we tailgate at all the home football games. Saturday was homecoming, and we couldn't find anyone to watch Ella - so we just brought her with! She lasted until about half way through the third quarter and then she was ready to go home; we'd barely left the parking lot and she was asleep.

Oh my brain. it's a work in progress! Oh, and also, this is why we're not going to have any of the super good Easter candy in our baskets because I got to the store too late to get any. bummer! So, since it was so close. But, you can't see it here of course =D ). So ya'll have a great Easter this. And all Eli wante...

All the little moments...: January 2010
http://kleveille.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 15, 2010. A passion some people might not understand. First let me say that I have seen a lot in this world. More then what some people twice my age have seen. Of course there are some who have seen much more and some who just don't care to see anything at all. I just want to say that from what I have to say, it's not just mumbo jumbo, it's from actual experience. And I will say 'why not? At Friday, January 15, 2010. Friday, January 8, 2010. So what does a girl do in my situation? By the ...

All the little moments...: November 2009
http://kleveille.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. These will be my last pictures of Korea. Then we can finally get to life here in Minnesota. Some of the pictures are rather random but I still wanted to show them to you. One day, when I was sick and totally not feeling well, Gabriel took full advantage of my lack of awareness and got ahold of my kleenex box and proceeded to empty every last one of the onto my kitchen floor. stinker:) I caught him in the very end of his sneaky act! This is Gabriel, just being cheeky! Then from ...

Life in the Vast Lane: May 2010
http://skaffs.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. I can't hardly believe it, but my niece Krispen turned two on May 12th! We all went down to Excelsior this past weekend and had a little birthday party for her. She definitely got the idea that the party was for her - and that the presents were all for her! She just went from one bag to the next, pulling each item out, looking at it, and moving on to the next! It was stinking hilarious! Here's a few photos:. Thursday, May 13, 2010. We didn't luck out with a beautiful sunny 70 deg...

Life in the Vast Lane: socks
http://skaffs.blogspot.com/2011/08/socks.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Yesterday was a little rainy and a little cool, and Ella has been fighting a cough. So good mother that I am, I decided she needed to wear socks. Ella hasn't worn socks since May - meaning half her life has now gone by without them. So when I put them on her last night to go out for pizza with Nate's grandma, they were a completely new thing to her! They were like a brand new toy. September 26, 2011 at 4:29 PM. Life in the Vast Lane: January 2010
http://skaffs.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 28, 2010. Lately I have been more interested in reading other people's blogs than writing my own blog. I sometimes get so caught up in admiring others creativity that its hard for me to be creative myself. As I mentioned, my little brother was recently home on leave from Iraq. I was talking to him last week (when he surprised me with a phone call on my birthday! Years ago. He's anxious to get home and get back to his life. And yet, his life has not. I find this to be a good reminder for...

Seasons in light: May 2011
http://seasonsinlight.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
8220;This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”. 1 John 1:5 (TNIV). Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The work of defining "call.". Or, will He just keep moving because this is the time He needs me to move? I believe my God made me, and therefore knows everything about me. He knows things about me that even I don't know or understand. That is weird. I mean, who doesn't know themselves best? We are to love who with our heart? You mean, ALL? Not j...

Seasons in light: December 2011
http://seasonsinlight.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
8220;This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”. 1 John 1:5 (TNIV). Tuesday, December 06, 2011. During Advent, I receive several spiritual meditations, and readings in my inbox. It's a way for me to be connected to the larger body of Christ in my daily life. This is a reading by Jackie Cameron, staff member at Credo. And pay attention to the answers-because there will be many. One answer may well be, "I am hungry for the biggest piece...
