Images of interiors, whether restaurants, hotel bedrooms, reception areas, need to communicate the atmosphere and attention to detail that you have created. However, due to lighting and other challenges, these types of area can be the most difficult to capture compellingly. One of the best times to capture images of buildings is around sunset as the natural light fades and the interior lights looks warm and inviting. However, at this time of day the light on the exterior is not always flattering. For my dusk-lit images I therefore add lights to the exterior to bring out and highlight the best parts of the building and surroundings.
