Heading to retirement one day at a time. The 16th Century Study Project. This Week – into December. December 4, 2016. Theoretically I’m in the middle of a book buying ban because we are in major Christmas present purchasing mode, and as most of my wish list consists of books it’s a good idea not to get sucked into buying things just in case I forgot what I put on my list. Believe me, that’s happened in the past 😀. I also bought another e-book, called Five Stories High. Which I am enjoying very much.

A Quick Round-up | The Dowager Bride
https://thedowagerbride.wordpress.com/2016/12/11/a-quick-round-up
Heading to retirement one day at a time. The 16th Century Study Project. December 11, 2016. A very quick round-up in fact because I feel like I have done nothing this week – a big fat zero, especially on the reading front. I did make some progress with Fellside. Which I am enjoying and read on the train during the two days I travelled into my office, and I feel that I just need one big push and I could finish it. That feeling that my boys don’t really need me: I don’t like it. This past week has been an interesting experiment since my oldest was away visiting relatives. His first unaccompanied flight, first time away from me for so long. But of course, he’s fine. He’s becoming so grown up. I’m proud. So proud that he can do so many things on his own. I knew this was...
