Wednesday, July 24, 2013. A hipsterific trailer park, grown-up summer camp, and secret desert retreat all rolled into one glorious sun-soaked acre. Tim and I *sort of* wanted to go camping(read: we wanted s'mores and stars but also running water and AC), so after some pretty specific google searches, we discovered Hicksville, Joshua Tree. After arriving and settling into our alien themed Airstream (yes, it does. July 26, 2013 at 11:46 AM. This is your actual life? As in, the real life that you lead?

Monday, June 2, 2014. You know I'm always on the lookout for old trailers. Unfortunately, I seem to be driving when I see a lot of them, and am unable to take a photo. We did see this nice Shasta, a 1962 if I got it right (I'd had some wine). We were sitting in our campsite minding our business, when all of a sudden it came toddling by - with help of course! Later I found where it had landed, and managed to snag a shot. It sure looks cute tucked away in the woods! Sequim Bay State Park. Up, Up and Away!

Sunday, January 26, 2014. Not far from where I live, there is a person that collects trailers. He stores them at an old drive-in theater, and they are highly visible to passersby. I've never stopped to look, but NoJuan. On Flickr stole a picture of the entrance to the drive-in. And here are the trailers! I found this older picture I took a couple of years ago. Saturday, January 18, 2014. Sometimes you find little trailers in the most unusual places! I was waiting in line to pay for our Durango tabs, and this cute little thing was on display in the licensing office. I'm happy to report that I didn't have to wait too long, despite the number of people ahead of me in line. I always forget to bring a book or magazine! I have a bunch of old license plates - I suppose I could do something artistic with them. Currently they just lurk around the garden.

Saturday, November 16, 2013. Our next planned trip is in February, to celebrate Darwin Day. Darwin's birthday - February 12th. We've made a tradition of traveling to the coast for Darwin Day, though not last year due to Michael's broken leg. Never mind that. This year we hope to go to the Long Beach area, and stay at the Sou'Wester Lodge. Weather permitting, of course. In the meantime, here's a video with a caravan in it! One of my favorite bands - Blur!
