http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2013/04/c-and-e-heading-to-gua.html
Tuesday, April 2, 2013. C and E Heading to GUA. God has been talking a lot to me about Guatemala. I feel like He has laid it on my heart that I should go there so that I can see how other people live.". Chloe, age 8. This conversation took place a couple weeks ago at the dinner table. Chloe had heard us talking about a mission trip that was happening with our church. She knew that Daddy and Mommy were going.but she did not know that we had already decided to take her and her brother. We need to raise $3,...

The Williams Whereabouts: March 2012
http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. Around the House This Week. St Patrick's Day and a little Pintentionality. For our third year running, we tried to catch a leprechaun. Chloe is so into this. She reminds us every year. Her first grade teacher asked the whole class to make traps this year to share with the class.Chloe could not wait to get started. According to the letter they wrote, they did in deed appreciate her attention to detail. And thought it to be one of the comfiest traps in town. Friday, March 9, 2012.

The Williams Whereabouts: February 2013
http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. We, like so many other families, have assigned colors to one another in our family. Daddy is orange, Mommy is green, Chloe is pink and Eli is blue. I have noticed that our sweet Eli makes sure that each family members color is represented on the majority of his art projects. Today's example is below. We named him Elijah Hooper Williams. Elijah means "the Lord is God". Hooper is my maiden name.a way to carry on the Hooper Family name. The Lord is God of my family.".

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Click on that to get to the pin and a video). It is safe to say that sight words are among Chloe's least favorite things to practice. First semester, we were really struggling to make them a nightly routine.hard for both of us. So, when I came across this on Pinterest, I was excited! I had the bathroom paper cups on hand and simply wrote her next 50 or so sight words on the bottom of the cups. She has to read the word and then she can add it to her tower. Only crumbs were left!

Saturday, May 11, 2013. The Irony of Mother's Day. There's this part of my personality that I don't particularly like. It's the part that tries not to look forward to things in attempt to shield myself from disappointment. Anyway.Mother's Day falls into this category. While Kevin is a very thoughtful person, who loves and appreciates all I am and do for our children.I still struggle with this tendency. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I love Jesus. I am the wife of an amazing man and the mother of two pre...

The Williams Whereabouts: #hashtagginghelpsmecope

Wednesday, March 20, 2013. I am not on Twitter.I do not have Twitter. I do not Tweet. I do not even know how to say that. Whatever, this week, my brain was hash tagging like it was my job. On Monday I braved a trip into Seattle. Alone. Armed with hand written directions and a dumb phone. Not a smart one. For some reason, I concluded that a trip into Seattle by myself to renew my passport was the least stressful options at my disposal. What. was. I. thinking? I freaked out a little on Kevin Sunday night.

The Williams Whereabouts: April 2013

Sunday, April 21, 2013. I am sitting in Antigua, Guatemala, in a beautiful hotel overlooking this beautiful city. It feels surreal.like I'm in a movie. I hear roosters and Spanish speakers.cars and fireworks (so. many. fireworks. and at the weirdest times of day.). There have been seasons of my life where I would sit here in the hotel all embittered that I am removed from the action.but today.with our weeks experiences behind us.there is no room for bitterness and immaturity like that. They both have wal...

Thursday, August 30, 2012. First Day of PreK - Take 2. E started PreK last week. Welltechnically he started PreK in April. In order to get him into a program he needs, we needed to enroll him into their school. So he finished PreK precisely 4 weeks after starting it.and ABCs and 123 were but a review. He is big. He is ready. I miss him. Upon pick up, he announced that he has a new friend. His name is Body. (pronounced like Cody). He likes sharks too. Thank you, Jesus. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
