http://moaqi.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Musings of a Quasi-Intellectual. Monday, September 18, 2006. The Night Watch - Sarah Waters. I don't know how she does it, but I have yet to read a Sarah Waters. Novel that I have failed to enjoy. The Night Watch. Is set in London during and following World War II. It is a truly human story, filled with regret, bad choices, and pervaisive longing. Read it, I don't think you will be dissappointed. Also, if you haven't read any of Sarah Waters' books, what are you waiting for.pick up Fingersmith. Never the...

Musings of a Quasi-Intellectual: October 2006
http://moaqi.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Musings of a Quasi-Intellectual. Sunday, October 08, 2006. This is one of the better young adult queer fictions I have read. Good grasp of the intricacies of young friendships and the confusion surrounding that first love. The synopsis is the three main characters have been inseperable for many years. One the points of the triangle goes away to a summer leadership camp and everything changes. The tales unfolds over the next year. I highly reccommend this. Fairies in shopping malls? America….Bloody Oath. Mick ’s in America. Crikey. What the hell am I doing here? Read all about it! About Me and this Blog. My mate Yellster suggested that I keep a log of what I weigh while I am in the USA. I do not have a great expectation of American food, and the sheer ratio of fast food is against me. Come back here to keep an eye on my weight throughout the year. 27/01/2006 (leaving Australia) – 81kg (178.5 lbs). Too much 5 kinds of melted cheese, burritos, burgers and chili! 1 Mom - June 9, 2006.

Posted by Mick in Diary. 8220;A bloody good bloke” is how Steve Irwin has been described, and even though I’ve never met the guy he always seemed very genuinely nice and a decent all-round guy. Lots of coverage about it here in the States. Which is fair enough seeing as though he broke it big here before he did in Australia anyway. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Musings of a Quasi-Intellectual: August 2006
http://moaqi.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Musings of a Quasi-Intellectual. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. I have recently finished two books. Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dunbar. One disappointing and the other pleasantly refreshing. The empire is evil; they are bad people; bad things happen to good people. I felt it was just to much this time. After finishing the book, I needed a shower. Because it is only half the book it was supposed to be, the rest published sometime in the future. I have decided to wait it out until I have the whole story.

I am only going to be in this country for 47 more days. It has not been an easy decision at all. I have reasons to stay, and also reasons to go. If I made a list, there would be more reasons to go, but sometimes it’s not the amount of reasons, but the importance of those reasons. People saying ‘Mate’ an...And you c...

Now I know why I prefer not to make ‘personal’ posts on here. It’s my own bloody fault, but I did not expect to be attacked by people on my own blog. I’ve removed the post, the comments and am close to removing this whole thing, but will not. May not post on here for a while, but will revert to sending emails to the people I care about.
