Bill, Dorothy, Daisy and Duke. Bill and Dorothy came to the Comox Valley in 2005 looking for a more peaceful and nature based life style. Dorothy comes from a business background . When she retired , she volunteered with Food for the Hungry, doing needs assessments and project evaluations in Rwanda, Peru, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Viet Nam and Guatemala. Klik op de foto voor een groter beeld. Vandaag gaat het gebeuren, we gaan vertrekken naar Canada. Rond half 10 rijden we aan richting Ruud en Yvanka, die ons naar Dusseldorf zullen brengen. De reis verloopt voorspoedig en er is zowaar een korte parkeerplaats beschikbaar. We drinken nog even samen een bak koffie en zien dat we al vertraagd zijn, achteraf gaat dit een uur worden. Dan nemen wij afscheid en gaan door de douane want we gaan nog even tax-free shoppen. Eindelijk officieel in Canada gearriveerd.
