EAGALA is an international non-profit organization which certifies professionals to ensure quality and standards for Equine Assisted Learning and psychotherapy (counseling). There is a mental health specialist (Heather McAtee, LISW, LLC.) as well as an equine specialist (Sylvia Kreamalmyer) at the sessions, both being EAGALA certified. They both have in excess of 25 years of horse experience. Heather McAtee, of Heather B. McAtee, LISW, LLC, is a certified mental health specialist and equine therapist.
