http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 8 February 2014. I have to share my week.it has been quite remarkable. Monday began with submission of the year end results to Germany, Tuesday morning was the next foot appointment (yes, still treating the verruca's, although I have almost exhausted all treatment options? So there I was, legs up in the air, to my horror being shown all my internal bits on a screen by Mr Doctor. Yes, he did want to proceed with treatment.Cryocautery to the cervix.(I'll leave you to look it up yourself). All I w...

Appreciating Life: July 2015
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 July 2015. Feeling kind of proud. Our house sale is finally concluding.it's been almost a year since we put our house on the market.and it's been a REALLY long year! There have been some ups and many, many downs. In my packing I have come across some old notes from Maxine, reminding me how important I am to her.you sometimes forget as your child reaches adolescence and the days become more challenging. I also found a card with body measurements from that time.hence my post today. And even i...

Appreciating Life: My mum's remarkable life - The dancing years
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-mums-remarkable-life-dancing-years.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - The dancing years. My mum was a dancer from the age of four, eventually running her own dancing school, and singing and dancing in a dance troupe. She spoke so fondly of her dancing years, doing open air concerts, mainly for elderly people. Always struggling for money, but loving her life.. My mum made all of her own dancing costumes. Sadly, he contracted cancer and passed away quite quickly. The life that she so loved so much had ended. TUM - I Believe.

Appreciating Life: May 2014
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, 23 May 2014. Feeling despondent - such a long way to go! I've been feeling really despondent the last few weeks.I have been on what feels like a never-ending journey to lose weight this year and, my crumbs, it is taking much longer than I thought it would! In years gone by, I could simply cut out a few chocolates or biscuits, or go to the gym for a few weeks, and the weight would fall off me.not any more! Yes, I will be doing Bodypump again tomorrow morning, making it 4 classes this week!

Appreciating Life: May 2015
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - Her time with me here in England. After my dad passed away in 2001, my mum was left living with my brother and his then wife (now ex). I became increasingly concerned for my mum's well-being, so I arranged for my mum to come over to England 'on holiday'. I only bought a one-way ticket. I had no intention of letting her go back. I had genuine concern for her safety. I'd go round on a weekly basis, taking groceries, cleaning, etc. More often if needed. I refu...

Appreciating Life: My mum's remarkable life - Bundles of energy and fun
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-mums-remarkable-life-bundles-of.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - Bundles of energy and fun. When you tell a story chronologically, it's hard to fit in the random bits inbetween. The bits like what a wonderfully kind, energetic, fun person my mum was. The proud mum who made her daughter's dancing costumes and did her hair in pin curls, hoping she may become the star dancer she once was. But, alas, said daughter hated the limelight.so dancing was never really going to be my thing! 26 May 2015 at 12:46. TUM - I Believe.

Appreciating Life: January 2014
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 1 January 2014. My word for 2014. My word for this year is going to be. Time to lose weight. Time to sort out my things - paperwork, housework, photos. This year my focus will be on. And how I can make it work for me. I'm tired of constantly chasing my tail - this year it stops! What happened to the rest of 2013? I had such good intentions of doing a catch up on the year.and almost got there.and then the wheels fell off! So, the rest of the year, very briefly.well, as briefly as possible!

Appreciating Life: August 2013
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 30 August 2013. I forgot to mention someone very special from our South African holiday.we saw our old cat Lucy again! The picture above is of our old cats Merlin and Lucy, in our garden in South Africa before we left South Africa. Merlin was a wild kitten that Trev rescued from his workshop, and I honestly can't remember how we got Lucy. The funny thing when I looked through these old photos was that I realised how much Merlin looks like our present cat Purrloin (see below):. Trev's birthday fel...
