Tales from The Higby Gang: Memory Lane

http://thehigbygang.blogspot.com/2014/10/memory-lane.html

Wednesday, October 8, 2014. I just came back from a long walk down memory lane.and boy are my legs tired! Remember when I would post (somewhat) nightly about the goings on here in Higbyland? How did I have the energy? How did I have the time? How did I get control of the laptop long enough? How about some quick and dirty updates? New owner of her first cell phone (which was taken away for the first time less than a week after she received it. Momma likes the new punishment possibility! Or Young Cam Jansen.

Tales from The Higby Gang: March 2013

http://thehigbygang.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Saturday was Ty's last basketball game of the season. Some of the family is a little happier than others. Not everyone enjoyed sitting at the games. He had a fabulous year on the Ramsey Rebels. They finished the season 17-9-1. To you "non-basketball" people (is there really such a thing? Some of the Ty's games were really fun to watch. There were games that everything clicked and. The ball went in the hoop. There were games when it really looked. Still, this basketball-loving-mom...

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. My Parents Are Cool. My parents are cool. They're fun. They're hip. And what's even better? When I was a kid, our big family trips revolved around skiing. Not downhill skiing, mind you.Cross Country Skiing. I can remember thinking it wasn't as cool as downhill. Or as hip. Or as scary! Monday afternoon, Grammy and Granddad took Zoe and Ty up High Point, NJ. Grammy was kind enough to provide pictures. Granddad gave Zoe pointers on technique:. Put your weight on foot that's not.

Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Quick side note: I've been without a computer for almost 2 months.lots of ugly viruses.still don't have all my pictures back from the backup.so I apologize in advance for the cell phone pictures.). Little Miss Ava has turned into quite the teenager-in-training. She may be small. But she doesn't let that stop her "attitude". At the very first phrase from my mouth, I heard a deep sigh from the car seat behind me. And, "Here we go again.". What, on earth, will she be like at 13?

Tales from The Higby Gang: Bread - It makes me happy

http://thehigbygang.blogspot.com/2013/05/bread-it-makes-me-happy.html

Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Bread - It makes me happy. Anyone who knows me, knows that I enjoy baking. But by "baking", I mean pies, cookies, cakes, etc. And every Christmas, I've coveted my friends' Kitchen Aid mixers. Honestly, it wasn't even JUST Christmas that I got a little green with envy. Anytime I took out that hand mixer and tried to cream not-yet-room-temperature butter. But guess what I got for my birthday? Did you read that in the sing-song rhythm that I typed it? Go back and read it again.).

To ensure that no one gets the wrong idea, let me preface with my closing sentiment about the whole thing:. Too many other fan...
