July 30, 2015. It feels like ages since I posted an update. I took a new job at the end of March (which I love! And then our wild, fun summer hit, so I've been one busy mama. Madeline had her 4 year old check-up today and got a great report! Benjamin is a wild man! If you ask him to raise his arm, he'll do it and wait for you to tickle him, and then he just howls. He has 16 (! I am so grateful for these two precious babies that make my days so bright and full of life. Always an adventure!

February 13, 2015. Benjamin, 14 months/Madeline update. Our babies continue to grow at the speed of light and bring more joy to our days. At 14 months, our Benjamin is walking anywhere and everywhere. And by walking, I mean running. Running and climbing. May 9, 2015. I don’t know where the time has gone, but here we are, entering into summer. Now, we’re gearing up for her dance recital next month. She’s still loving ballet and tap (and her teacher, Miss Kay! And shows off her moves every chance she gets. Our precious girl is spelling her name and getting dressed by herself every morning and before bed – in fact she insists on it! Benjamin is still the cutest little guy I ever did see. He has now had two haircuts (courtesy of Uncle David) and has 13 teeth.

August 29, 2014. Madeline is going to preschool! I can't believe I'm blogging about my baby girl going to preschool. She's so grown up - and it happened WAY too fast. Madeline will go to her first day of preschool on September 2. She's in the Tuesday/Thursday 3's class at Apex UMC Preschool. We had parent orientation and meet the teacher day at school this week and all three of us are thrilled! October 15, 2014. Benjamin at 10 months. Happiest 10 months with this kid. Such a joy! Here's a little update on what our big man has been up to:. He has 4 teeth, but he's working on some more (the drool, crankiness and chewing tell us so). He looooves a sippy cup! Chews it, bangs it on the table, drinks the water, repeat! We're introducing more solid foods. Some of his favorites include. Pancakes, broccoli, cooked carrots, chicken, bread and bananas. 7:45/8 pm - 6:00/6:30 am. Hes a dancing machine!

The kids and I enjoyed a wonderful Easter weekend together this year. December 20, 2014. Benjamin, 12 month update. At Benjamin's 12-month doctor's appointment, he weighed in at 23 lbs., 9 oz. (62%) is 30.5" long (74%) and has a head circumference of 19.5" (99%). Everything looks great! Benjamin is pretty much eating whatever we eat and uses his sippy cup like a pro. He loves meat and he loves milk! A couple of his favorite things are hamburger vegetable soup, lasagna and meatballs. He gobbles it all up and gets upset if I don't spoon it over to him fast enough! Other thin...
