Century thatched Wealden ‘hall house’ that was the first purchase made by the National Trust in 1896.

ROOM RATES Per night room rates 2013. Room rates include full English breakfast. 1st January to 29th March. 1st November to 31st December. 30th March to 31st October. Extra bed for an adult 25 per night including breakfast. Extra bed for a child 15 per night including breakfast. No charge for a cot or children under 4 years.

Like most Victorian houses all three rooms are spacious with high ceilings. For your refreshment they all have tea/ coffee /hot chocolate/ovaltine/horlicks and biscuits, with fresh milk provided in the mini fridges. Each room has a hair dryer, and the bath/shower rooms, have complimentary shower gel/shampoo/soap and hand cream. Wi-Fi also available in each room.
