http://mybaboo.blogspot.com/2011/07/angry-pirate.html
How long is a piece of wool. There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, 13 July 2011. Yesterday we were waiting in a queue to pay for lunch a a well know blue and yellow furniture store when a lady pushed past my son to get a glass. On her way back to the till point she stood in front of my son, staring at him and waiting for him to move. I had to pull him out of her way. She didn't even say 'Excuse me' maybe she thought children don't deserve the courtesy of manners. The Red Pirate was a deadly curse.

http://ilikelichenblog.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Musings on nature, soul and craft. Saturday, 28 March 2009. Tastukaeru is Kate who lives in Scotland. I was drawn to her work by her luscious embroidery. Her titles bring the pieces alive, hinting at her unique relationship to the natural world giving us an insight how her craft is truly a meditation in an elemental exploration of colours and textures. Many thanks Kate and check out the bottom of the interview for blog, Etsy, Photographic and musical links. Do you ever get obsessed? I find music to be th...

http://ilikelichenblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/blog-giveaway_30.html
Musings on nature, soul and craft. Thursday, 30 April 2009. Giveaway (ring not dog). Originally uploaded by buddha seed. Somehow i've been caught in this strange twilight of 'grrr' all week, much like the snarl of my Jack Russell when anyone dangles a hand anywhere near her. Dan called this morning just as I was getting up, and him heading to bed (in the states) and I could hear coyotes howling their strange and eerie song in the background. Whether domisticated or wild - dogs aye make me smile. Not want...

http://ilikelichenblog.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Musings on nature, soul and craft. Wednesday, 15 October 2008. Prayer flags of the heart. Pieces of hand dyed pre-felt are hung out over the bath to dry like brightly coloured prayer flags. Each one the hue of autumn leaves shining in their brilliance before returning to the earth, their nutrients allowing new life to bloom. It is only in the language of nature can I make sense of my brother's death. That spark of eternal energy, that piece of 'god' which resides inside each of us where is it? View my co...

ilikelichenblog: Conversation with Aileen Clarke
http://ilikelichenblog.blogspot.com/2009/05/conversation-with-aileen-clarke.html
Musings on nature, soul and craft. Friday, 1 May 2009. Conversation with Aileen Clarke. I came across Aileen's work on Flickr and was quickly sucked into her luscious coloured Scottish Landscapes. Her Croft scenes reminded me of staying in bothy's in wild and beautiful landscapes and of camping by the shore under moonlit skies. Enjoy some musings with Aileen over virtual coffee. What inspires you, that you couldn’t you live without? Being surrounded by trees and greenery and our visits to the west coast.
