Although, it wasn't a hard decision because I knew I wanted to help people keep and see their beauty as they know it. Since I opened my private little wig salon in August, 2008, I have been helping strangers who have become friends. But now I am really helping a friend and a relative. Thursday, September 3, 2009. A promise to my web master was made that I would continue blogging faithfully! Well, here I am again typing away when I know I should be doing something else like adding pictures to my website! Actually, that is the next thing on the list! Tonight I will be weaving Highlights for Hope for the Sudbury Swim Club. Their season is starting up again and they wanted to celebrate with Highlights for Hope. Can't wait to see the girls in pink! Tuesday, October 20, 2009. You think I am going to say - Time flies when you are having fun - Not! It flies by no matter what. I have been ill for the last little bit and it sure made me think how we shouldn't take a day for granted. I meet special people in my shop. They are on a journey of living every moment they have. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Bullhead City to be exact. I have some great friends I visit here and now I have been introduced to new friends! The Comfort Zone, an incredible place that has been made available by a lovely lady named Phyllis. They help people in every aspect of their cancer journey from a hug to wigs to contacting funding organizations. You see, as women, we know what it is to change our style and what we do to get that style but for him it was surprising! I think we gave a few beauty secrets away that he hadn't known before but I think we can trust him because when we were all done, she looked absolutely Wig Beautiful and like herself which I am pretty sure he loved.
