Tuesday, December 29, 2009. This had to be the best Christmas ever. It just couldn't have been better. Christmas Day at the Oshkosh Mathwigs was filled with laughter, lots of talk and, as always, more food than a healthy family needs, but oh so good. Despite the horrible ice storm, the Kostuchs and Ramseiers arrived from La Crosse only about an hour late, greeted with much relief. They returned with me to my new home on Christmas evening, for a light supper and yet another. May 2010 be a spectacular year.

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Life is sooooo good! I just got back from my first cruise ever and it couldn't have been more wonderful. My friend Dorothy Wetterlin from La Crosse, and I, were dropped off at the airport in Minneapolis early Sunday morning, January 17th, after a great sendoff meal and evening with her daughter Amie and husband Dave. We arrived in Tampa and boarded the MS Ryndam of Holland America by 1 pm and the fun began. So, what's next on my "bucket list"? Still, it's good to be home.

Sunday, March 21, 2010. And, I got the lawn raked (Harley helped me haul the leaves to the recycle place). What a good feeling that was. Next will be raking at the folk's place. The crocuses are blooming merrily, the tulips are pushing up and everything is budding like mad. What a rude awakening it mush be for those tender babies when we get a cool week to follow.
