http://frannibaggins.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Hill running and climbing in the Highlands. Hill running misadventures in the Northern Highlands. Sunday, 21 March 2010. My foot is still a bit tender after the Hobble so myself and Becky went for a walk with Owen over Carn Sleamhuin and Carn na Guaille from Dalnahaltnach. Too with a good selection of cakes. Tuesday, 16 March 2010. Haworth Hobble the recovery. Even the race route couldn't avoid the influence of that evil triad of scribblers as we had to cross Br@ te Bridge, shortly after which we ploughe...

Scottish Climbers: November 2013
http://scottishclimbers.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, 7 November 2013. Un-pisted Alpine: 3 Days of Steep Skiing. Tap, tap, tap. I nervously tap my ski pole on the pavement. It is 7.55am and Ally should have been here ten minutes ago. I’m sitting on the bench outside a café in the centre of Chamonix watching precious time slip by. A tentative text message brings an explosive response, he is clearly not happy that he has slept in. Would I go all the way? Would the gapping bergschrund catch my fall? Would I still be conscious to know? Fifteen minutes...

Scottish Climbers: July 2012
http://scottishclimbers.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 July 2012. Hill Running. there's nae fells in Scotland! After the disappearance of the snow, and the recent rains of summer, the motivation to get out in the mountains has changed a little in the last few months. The desire to run/trott/crawl up and down the hills has caught the imagination of late! In no particular order are a few thoughts which popped into my brain yesterday while doing something which I enjoyed doing. well for a few minutes anyway! Jacket on or jacket off…. Wow, what a view!

Hill running and climbing in the Highlands: July 2009
http://frannibaggins.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Hill running and climbing in the Highlands. Hill running misadventures in the Northern Highlands. Saturday, 18 July 2009. Where has the summer gone? Arriving in the driving rain in Tomintoul, I discovered that most of the events had been cancelled but the hill race was still on. I had never run the route, but had heard all sorts of rumours of man-eating ditches and head-high heather. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). High Mountaineering Climbing Conditions. Hill running and climbing in the Highlands: November 2009
http://frannibaggins.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Hill running and climbing in the Highlands. Hill running misadventures in the Northern Highlands. Sunday, 15 November 2009. This ruined boat on the bank of Loch na Curra seemed out of place in the middle of a hillside at 350m altitude. A random picture that I took last weekend over by Abriachen. Sunday, 1 November 2009. Coming off Y Garn was a mild disaster as I got the line completely wrong. I had tried to stick to the marked paths, but would have been better off heading straight towards the forest ...
