Design Studio 3 '09. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Room plan and section 1:50 ; perspective. Room plan and section 1:50. Floor and roof plan 1:100. The key concept of my design is to highlight the length of the site by challenging the idea of vision and reality. This concept is derived from Yayoi Kusama, a contemporary Japanese artist. Her works force you to question what you think you are visualising in contrast to the reality of the situation especially with her installations and video compositions.

The front gallery doubles as a shop front. Through the glass windows viewers see straight through the public parts of the building while also watching the customers view art.
