On occasion we’ll have people stay for a few weeks as they work in the area but for the most part everybody is here for a brief stay. Of course we welcome long-stays, but our area simply doesn’t have a large demand for long-stay camping. On that note, we compiled a few statistics regarding how far our guests travel. Comes in second, with 9.8%. Is next at 4%.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Stone Mountain, Georgia. Thursday I drove to Stone Mountain Park outside of Atlanta, a pretty easy trip of 205 miles. The Park has some very pretty scenery as shown by Stone Mountain Lake with Stone Mountain in the background. Note the two-legged tower on the right side of the picture). The flora is conifer and deciduous forest with lots of azaleas. The fauna is squirrel. Fowl include geese, robins, cardinals, and other birds I couldn’t identify. Were all gray on the mountain....

New Mexico Weather: 8/15/15. August 16, 2015. I grabbed a few radar images from yesterday’s storms. I live really close to the Albuquerque radar, so I don’t have 3D imagery of these storms. I would like to point out that Idalia Rd is the killer of all storms, apparently.
