Notes from the Overground: November 2006
http://pressonforjoy.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Notes from the Overground. Notes, thoughts, and C-mails from life in Caracas. Questions and musings, and praise. This is a sweet blog from Tracy who went on the Cairo urban trek: http:/ cairotrek.blogspot.com/2006/11/trek-update-o-h-n-spells-cat-retro.html. For you have received your consolation. Woe to you who are full! For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now! For you shall mourn and weep. Woe to you when all men shall speak well of you! For so their fathers did to the false prophets. I the LORD ...

Starving for Sunshine: August 2011
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
I heart sunshiny days! Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Week 1, Day 1: complete. I am going to try to run a 5k at the end of October. Today was pretty easy. Just the right amount of jogging/walking and my route was the perfect length. I even bought this nifty couch to 5k app for my ipod that tells me when to walk and when to jog. So no calculating on my part. Labels: Couch to 5k. Monday, August 29, 2011. Just another day on the job. Must tough driving something like a snazzy old corvette around for work&#...

Starving for Sunshine: February 2012
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
I heart sunshiny days! Wednesday, February 15, 2012. The boys helped me mix them up. After naps Dane helped me decorate them and then we ate them together in the tent for a little party. We each had two, quite the sugar buzz, I tell you. I had to bribe Dane with a cookie to get him to wear that shirt, then he insisted on the tie. I had to continue to use the cookie as leverage in order to get a few pictures. On the menu was:. Gnocchi with bacon and a white wine sauce. Friday, February 3, 2012. View my co...

Starving for Sunshine: March 2011
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
I heart sunshiny days! Monday, March 28, 2011. Six months today. And I actually remembered to blog about it. I don't know where time has gone I sometimes still feel as though he is a newborn, maybe that has something to do with the fact that he is up like 10 times a night. (not kidding or exaggerating). Otherwise he is thriving and growing, babbling and sitting. He loves his brother. Dane can always make him smile and can usually get a giggle. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Midwest, United States.

Starving for Sunshine: July 2012
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
I heart sunshiny days! Tuesday, July 3, 2012. What have I been up too. And just as I thought I was wrapping things up I found a rocking chair I would really like to have redone before baby gets here. Paint and seat recovered. Should be fairly easy, just need time, cool weather and time, oh yeah and cool weather, please. Before: Green walls Oak built-in bookshelves, different furniture. After: white bookshelves, new sectional, almost white walls. My Uncle Harold lives with my parents. Dane usually get...

Starving for Sunshine: January 2012
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
I heart sunshiny days! Saturday, January 21, 2012. In with the new, out with the old. What do these two have in common? Tuesday, January 17, 2012. January came and the doldrums set in. I was trying to figure out what I could do or where I could go, short of a warm sunny cruise to snap me out of feeling boring. And I had a nice little simple project pop into my head that I had spotted on a blog. That I loosely followed. I love an easy, free and satisfying project. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A place for us.

The Wheeler Wagon: The Playground Project
http://wheelerwagon.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-playground-project.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. With my sister, Pam. And her family (the McCormicks) living in Haiti and investing in the Haitian people, we asked Pam if there were any specific needs needed to be met. After talking with my sister, she immediately thought of the children in the community and identified a desire to build a park and playground in their community! I said, “Yes I really do, why? 8221; She responded “Because I really do too.”. Stay tuned for more info on how you can get involved too!

Starving for Sunshine: Dane- isms
http://starvingforsunshine.blogspot.com/2012/07/dane-isms.html
I heart sunshiny days! Tuesday, July 3, 2012. This blog is slowly but surely fading. But I will be on occasionally to update and document some of our memories. Dane I think has entered what most people consider the "terrible twos" for us it didn't hit until 3 1/2 and I am hoping it is short lived. Here are a few things that have really made me laugh lately. Our nightly Bible stories must be making an impression. He then jumps on board and starts sing over and over "what the funct". Oh boy. One day Dane a...
