Sunday, August 24, 2014. Part 2 of our Great Chicago Adventure included lots of walking, lots of site seeing and good food. Day 2-This was going to be our biggest day in Chicago. 1st stop was the Field Museum where we were introduced to Sue (she is the most complete reconstruction of a T-Rex fossil in the world). Saturday, August 23, 2014. The Great Chicago Adventure.part 1. Our adventure began in Toledo. Ray had a 35th Class Reunion to attend so we decided to make the trip to Toledo and go on to Chicago from there. We then headed out to Chicago. We planned this trip to take Elizabeth home (she's been in OH since mid-June) but thought why not stay a few days and let her give us a tour of her new town! We were in Chicago for 3 days (2 with Elizabeth) and we had a ball. 1st day in Chicago was fantastic!

Monday, September 15, 2014. We have tomatoes going strong right now.lots and lots of tomatoes. All of the time we spent worrying over the past month was a complete waste of time, the tomatoes knew what they were doing all along! The days are definitely getting shorter and with all of this tomato business I feel fall creeping ever closer. This is always bittersweet for me, I enjoy fall so much but I know it inevitably leads to that end of year season.you know what I'm talking about.

As I type this I'm enjoying the peace of a house where the only human inhabitant is moi.I've got a cat on my lap, a strong cup o' joe by my side, and I can hear the gentle squawking of a guinea hen outside.total solitude! Monday, December 05, 2005. Rolling, Portraits, and Another Birthday. I am proud to report that I am now a rolling fiend. No sooner than Mommy sets me on my blanket on the floor, I am immediately on my tummy, all on my own. I can't do much after that, to my infinite frustration, but rolling over can be checked off of my list for good. Yesterday I travelled to have my portrait taken with my cousins. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Unpleasantness on a Major Scale. I had to go to the doctor's today. They made get shots. Four of them. I am not pleased. In case anyone is interested in that sort of thing, I also discovered I now weigh ten pounds and twelve ounces, and am twenty-three inches long. The doctor said I am doing wonderfully.
