The hike was a LOT harder that we all anticipated, the truth is, we were in way over our heads as the level of difficulty was beyond the level of us first time amateurs. The Tuckerman trail up to the Hermits cabin was relatively easy and safe, beyond this point, the hike was more about rock climbing than hiking.
