A place where we can all be insane at the same time. Casa de Luna is the home of Terrie and Joe Anderson. By chance, they discovered their home was near the Pacific Crest Trail and that they really liked the people who hike that trail every year. Pretty main stream site though Joe for a retired hippie! Later, The Colonel. On March 2, 2009. Notify me of ...

A Change of Scenery. On June 16, 2014 · 3 Comments. I’m out of the desert. Goodbye mandatory siestas. Goodbye night hiking. Goodbye rattlesnakes. Goodbye forest fire closures and their resulting poodle dog bush infestations and detours. Goodbye drab, desolate landscapes. Goodbye 10 litre per day water consumption and 20 mile water carries. Hostess Pastries (Honeybuns, Streusel Cakes, etc). Granola w/ dried milk. Oatmeal w/ dried fruits. Carnation Instant Breakfast Shakes. Friday, May 27, 2011.

A place where we can all be insane at the same time. It seems like only weeks ago that the ’08 PCT thruhikers began rolling in. We have just bid farewell to our 6th and 7th hikers of the ’09 season! We have one coming in today, that we know of, and in 2 weeks there’ll be a madhouse of hiker trash kickin’ it at the “Casa”. Can’t wait to meet this year’s collection of trail characters! Boone slept in one last night and said it was incredibly comfortable! Hi guys –. You might remember me I was camped next t...
