Hiking in Switzerland – Make the most of each Weekend. Last couple of weeks I wasn’t hiking. Weather wasn’t the best and there’s still some snow left. Unfortunately not enough, so it’s one step on corn snow, next step in mud. That’s not only annoying, it can also be dangerous if you slip on a rock. Meanwhile I often thought about my trek in Nepal to Kala Patthar last october. I was shocked about the drama at Icefall, too. I’m so sorry for the families, the other porter and guides at Khumbu! Hiking in Switzerland – Make the most of each Weekend. Gear: Canon PowerShot S120. My Canon PowerShot SX230 HS used to be my second favorite trekking gear! I bought it maybe five or six year ago and was so happy with it. It made nice pics from Grand Canyon to Kala Patthar above Everest Base Camp.
