It keeps ticking…. Artichoke Festival May 18, 2010. 8212; A&E @ 1:02 am. I visited the artichoke festival in the artichoke capital of the world, Castroville. Not only did it have the not so conventional touches on food such as artichoke tacos, burritos and cupcakes. But it also provided an artichoke art competition. Probably the most entertaining part of it was the artichoke eating contest. Each of the five competitors tried to eat 3.5 lbs of whole artichokes. And the champ…. It was good times.

Hiking with Radio.
Saturday, April 18, 2015. Summer 2014, Wicket, Brie, Radio and I meant to head to Prairie Mountain but ended up hiking Powder Face Ridge by accident. It was amazingly beautiful. A moderate hike with some steep spots, and we were out for about 7 hours exploring. It was not very busy, but enough people that I didn't feel sketched out by wild animals stalking me. Prairie is planned for May 2015. Here are pictures of my Powder Face Ridge hike. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
