Thanks to Viki for the lovely birthday card, Rocky theme song and toast at the end. It was a great birthday hike. Kassia, Tammy and Viki. First of many bridges. Scott at one of 54 switchbacks. Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Sourdough Ridge Hike @ Mt. Rainier. Hike sure was an adventure. We originally were going to hike to Freemont Lookout at the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier. After I returned from vacation I decided to change it to Spray Falls at the Mowich Lake entrance because it would be a little less strenuous. So off we went, and wouldn't you know it, we missed the turn off from Hwy 410 and ended up at the Sunrise entrance after all! Michele, Tammy and Kassia at the start.

But we didn't let that stop us from heading to Staircase Rapids for our Yoh! The North Fork Skokomish River. Pam the tree hugger. Kassia, Pam, James and Michele. The tiny "beach". Sunday, July 27, 2014. Fort Worden State Park. We've been wanting to visit Fort Worden State Park ever since we saw a post about it on our friends' blog. We almost made it there three years ago when we visited nearby Fort Flagler. We had fun walking around checking out the different batteries and buildings. Afterwards we had lunch at the Nifty Fiftys Soda Fountain, which had really yummy ice cream. A great way to end our day of fun! Winston checking out an old boat. Wherever Corey goes, Winston must go.

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Peter Pan starts tomorrow! Gabby will be performing as both a pirate girl and the pirate lead. It's been a very long and trying week for the kids at the theater. They've had multiple girls out with pneumonia. Gabby was very sick over last weekend and is dancing with an injured foot. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Coug Night at the Rainiers. Last night Scott and I went to watch the Rainiers play at Cheney Stadium against the Reno Aces. It was WSU Coug night so the players and Rhubarb all wore crimson shirts with the WSU emblem. It was fun to be surrounded by lots of Cougs! Sporting our new Coug shirt and hat. Rhubarb wrapped in the Coug flag. It was a far cry from last week's 90 degree temps. We even got rained on a couple of times. During the 7th inning stretch. August 9, 2015 at 5:17 PM.
