4 – 12th June 2016, Rogue Artists' Studios. I work across media in research-based projects often involving the collecting and re-purposing of found objects in site referential artworks, sculptural installations and public interventions. My work has an activist element, highlighting the concept of built in obsolescence while commenting on the impact of human activities on our planet. My practice has focused on these issues since graduating with an MA Fine Art in 2003.

The names of Augustus Welby Pugin, Edwin Lutyens and the Gilbert Scotts are rightly recognised in the annals of British architecture. Perhaps George Frederick Bodley is largely forgotten in the popular pantheon of great architects, but he thoroughly deserves his own place of honour. First published at LinkedIn, 4 November 2015.

I should have listened to my mother: June 2014

Friday, 27 June 2014. One project (very nearly) ticked off my to do list. I made a start on cutting this out yesterday, and have spent today sewing like a demon trying to get it finished. Sorry the photos are so dark, but there's a full on rain storm going on outside today. I'm just waiting for the postie to deliver me the Swarovski crystals that I've ordered, which I'll then attach to the bodice and sheer capelet, then it'll be all finished. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Elsas Snow Queen Dress.
