Sunday, June 15, 2008. So I have decided to not beat around the bush. Obviously Dad, you are not opening anything up from Hillary today. How do I know this? Sara Lee Pecan Coffee Cake. We have been eating this for as long as I can remember. Apple Pie. When I think of happy moments in life I think of sitting at the kitchen table peeling apples with you and learning your method for a very delicious apple pie, which does include Mom's killer crust. Run to the store a pick up a Cadbury Fruit and Nut Bar.".

Monday, November 26, 2007. Sorry this post is a little late. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My three best friends came to visit, Lizzy, Melanie and Clara. We packed each day with fun and excitement. I hope it was fun enough to convince them to move here! Outside of one of my favorite bakeries, Babycakes. Its a vegan/ allergen free/ no refined sweeteners/ no bad fats bakery. All of the taste minus some of the guilt. Dad probably cringes at the thought of it. We like to work it. Working up an appetite.

Friday, January 18, 2008. I realize that when I don't frequently update by blog, I get overwhelmed and don't even know where to start so I put it off even longer and life just adds up. Vicious circle. I will just do a little review of the last few weeks. The first picture of the week. We are trying to train Jenni to keep her eyes open when the flash goes off. Here she is waking up to her loot and heart shaped pancakes. She received a birthday hat, sticker, pencil and certificate at school. She loved it and wore the hat all day everywhere we went. They also announced her birthday over the loud speaker and she thought that was super cool. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART. WE SURE LOVE YOU!

When we first arrived we headed out to Brad's Uncles house for a fishing derby and clay pigeon shooting. The mess of shells. A fun time at the parade. Laela was dancing the whole time cracking everyone up. This was Brad's brothers "float" advertising for his insurance company. Our Niece, her boyfriend, and our nephews peddling along.

This is the first year we got Ayden and Alex to dig in their pumpkin. A proud moment indeed. The girls were all lady bugs this year. She said "I don't care, the kids laugh at me but it doesn't bother me. What? Everyone needs to fart sometimes.". After Laela poops she says "momma, did you hear it go "plop" into the toilet?
