Saturday 19th April saw 7 Hilly Hockers tackle Wicklow’s second highest mountain via the very much untraveled Glenmacnass valley. Mark, Rachel, Grace, Hatts, Susan, Donagh and Louis set off, after despatching a vehicle and the beginning and the end of the loop, at 10.15am. Saturday, April 5, 2008. Circuit of Glendasen 5th April 2008. And stretch 2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

Welcome to the Blog of the Hilly Hock Walkers from Newbridge, Co Kildare. Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Eastern Knockmealdown Loop - Sunday 4th May. Lunch Time On High. Saturday 3rd May saw us head off to the Knockmealdown Mountains in preparation for the Eastern Knockmealdown Loop on Sunday 4th May. We had our new hi tech pop up tent with us on its maiden voyage and by god it proved its worth on Saturday night as we were lashed by a storm that hit and did not let up until around 3am Sunday morning.

On the 26/10/08 the Hilly Hock Walkers set of on their hike up Leinster’s highest peak Lugnaquillia Mountain. The walkers today were Mark, Rachel, Elaine (Hatts), Sinead (Donagh)and are newest members Ben and Danielle.
