Cup besan,3/4 cup dahi,2 cups water,salt , tsp. HALDI,heeng. BAGHAR: 2 tbsp. oil, tsp.rai, 1tsp. til,a pinch of heeng, Few curry patta,To garnish : kothmir, fresh coconut. Blend besan ,water,salt, haldi. Heeng in a thick karai. See that there are no lumps. Put the mixture to cook on medium flame. Stir all the time and in one direction only. Taste the mixture for rawness.It will take about 7 -8 min. Quickly spread with a spatula on a 3-4 greased inverted thalis.

Cup chana dal,washed,soaked for 4-5 hours and ground to a paste with 3 tbsp water. 2 green chilli paste, 6-8 ground garlic cloves, 1/2 teaspoon haldi, salt,1 teaspoon eno fruit salt,2 teaspoons water. Other ingredients: 3 tbsp chopped hara dhania,2 tbsp pomegranate seeds, sev for topping. METHOD: Make a coarse paste with chana dal. Remove in a bowl.Add salt chilli garlic paste,Mix well. Put the fruit salt on the paste. Put 2 teaspoon water on the fruit salt.

Salt,1/2 tsp lime juice, hing, METHOD: Heat oil add the rai Jeera. Let it splutter.Add hing.Then the onions. Cook them for 5 minutes. Add the potatoes salt haldi hara dhania and lime juice. Stir well. Remove in a bowl. Cool. Shape into 4 pattice and roast them with little oil on a nonstick tawa.Serve with chutney.
