The team has just returned from our 2nd rotation and is now resting in Base Camp. We spent a night at Camp 3 (see attached photo), which is over 23,000' and a very high altitude to spend the night without any supplemental oxygen! Himalaya spring season kicking off. A beautiful winter’s day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in January. As far as expeditions are concerned, I need to get my head around who is coming and who is not. However, in order to get a clearer picture I need to get back to Kathmandu, talk to Miss Hawley and contact all the trekking agencies to find out what is happening this season.
