Sunday, August 07, 2011. Maddie and Bella turned five on July 18th. They are getting so big. They were so excited about their Luau birthday party. We had been talking about it for months! It was great timing because my sister Sarah and nephew Andrew came out to visit us the day before their birthday. We were so excited to have them here to be with us and help us with the party too! Here I am trying to show some of the girls a hula dance. Playing pass the coconut and getting treats out. Happy 4th of July.

This morning we woke up to a fun surprise.SNOW falling in our backyard! 160;Huge flakes of snow are still falling! 160;We had enough snow by lunch time to build a SNOWMAN! 160;It was so much fun! 160;Mason played out there for six hours! 160;(with a few HOT CHOCOLATE breaks of course) He loved wearing his "glubbs" (gloves) his grandma gave him yesterday. That was lucky timing! Mason cut the snow with his mower. I had Mason taste the snow.

Brandon knows how much I love this holiday so when I woke up my sneaky man (don't know when he did it) put up tons of sticky notes up on the mirror of reasons why he loves me. It was so cute!
