Stuck in the 60's! Sunday, December 18, 2011. I recently scrunch dyed a piece of muslin with the intention of overdyeing with black in a swirl. something I have been doing on shirts a lot lately. However, after doing the first dyebath with the colors, I decided to stop there and use the fabric for a whole cloth wall hanging. Here is the fabric before I began to highlight with stitching:. I had a link to a tutorial for this pattern on my site for a long time, but the link died, so I have created a new tutorial here. Thursday, June 11, 2015. I hadn't made one of my coiled fabric bowls in awhile, so I decided to fill a bin with fabric strips, and randomly pic strips to create a multi-color bowl. Fun! Totally unplanned, except for how I finished it off. with a wriggling snake! I'm always looking for different ways to do the finish, and I like how this came about. Monday, March 9, 2015. Getting back to work. My creativity has been on hiatus this past month, waiting for my studio to be expanded. Monday, January 19, 2015. Off to a great start! 2015 already promises to be a fun year for me! I have found a new niche product with my hand dyed grocery totes - already sold 36 this month to a friend, and didn't even have time to take pix of the newest ones. I have an order in for Kona cotton, replenished my grosgrain ribbon for handles, and hope to have a new batch ready soon. Meanwhile, here is a picture of some that I sold to my friend:.
