Soph's Hip Dysplasia Journey Blog. Home Hippenings – weeks 2 – 5. May 21, 2016. First off, let me say this was a learning curve – no a learning roller coaster, for all involved! I am not the type to be helped, I far prefer helping. My independence is a pretty strong streak. After that, I’ll discuss in more depth some of the things that have come up in the past weeks, and what I’ve learnt. It’s a fair amount of writing, as per usual for me, but I’ve learnt a LOT. Week 2 (ie week starting 7 days post op).
