Monday, January 30, 2012. Christmas Eve Brian's parents spent the morning with us, which unfortunately I was too sick to capture any photos! In the afternoon the girls and I made sugar cookies for Santa! We left a cup of milk and an assortment of cookies beside the fireplace. Christmas morning we awoke to a room filled with presents! Santa listened and gave Sierra her Minnie Mouse ornament, which she quickly hung on the tree! Marissa and Sierra were so excited to see that Santa gave each of them guitars!

Monday, October 31, 2011. A day at the Dentist, an evening at the Hawaiian Fest. On August 26th Sierra had her (2nd) 6month dental appointment for the 2011 year calendar. 4 star patient, with no cavities, great brushing and a pleasure entertaining the staff. X-rays are fun,. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Fishing at Contra Loma Regional Park. On October 22nd, the last weekend of fall break Brian, the girls and I met Grammie and Grandpa at Contra Loma for their 24th Annual Fishing Derby. The Derby was packed this year with almost 400 people in attendance - the weather was the best they have seen in years, so when a Free event is announced all come out of the woodwork's! Saturday, September 22, 2012. On Friday, August 24th the girls elementary school hosted their annual Hawaiian Fest - fund raiser! As we walked toward the entrance, Marissa spied a lizard and without hesitation stopped to befriend him and say hello. Love that she has no fear of bugs and reptiles. Monday, August 20, 2012. On July 28th our last weekend of fun before school starts, we took a long drive to Pescadero! Our first stop, the mavericks! Love walking on the sand collecting sea shells - so relaxing! We thought this rock resembled a fish - an eye on the top right and a pouty lip on the bottom right. An almost perfect family pic - rocky accidentally stomped on Marissa foot just as we were posing, so she wasn't in the mood to smile. Found a cool rock maze. And because it serves Portuguese food).

Monday, September 19, 2011. Marissa's - Week 1 Day 3 School Sentence. When I wit to the beach for tojliy and my dae caught a fish and it wus a mede onu. Translation: When I went to the beach for 4th of July and my daddy caught a fish and it was a medium one :). Every so often on the weekends, the girls set-up a snack table near the golf course in an effort to make money toward a particular toy or activity. Sierra profited $30 and choose to buy a dream light - here we are at CVS purchasing the unicorn dream light.
