September 9, 2013. This past summer I was blessed with the opportunity to host a little nine-year-old orphan boy from Eastern Europe. It was one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences of my life. Who could have known that in five very short weeks this little boy would go from being a total stranger to the son born of my heart. Due to his age (9) and special challenges, there is no hope that he will be adopted in his home country. His future is bleak. And left to fend for himself.
